Yew Tree Nursing Home is a well established home located in the picturesque rural village of Romsley.
The Home accommodates forty one residents providing comprehensive care including full nursing care, dementia care, private residential and respite opportunities. The home layout is over two floors incorporating the ground and first floor with lift access. We have various bedrooms, the majority are single en-suite, (we have some double rooms), with some bedrooms having views over the surrounding countryside.
The home has extensive grounds surrounding the home with both patio areas and sun terraces overlooking our resident Shetland ponies. The gardens are easily accessible for the enjoyment of all residents.

Our whole aim is to provide a person-centred approach in caring for each resident.
We undertake the organisation of the social events and daily activities
program where the resident is supported by a named staff member.
Daniel and Vicky put great emphasis on the meal time experience and create menus tailored to the residents choices and is prepared here at Yew Tree’s in our five star rated kitchen.
Our staff help to create the homely atmosphere whilst ensuring that all
residents receive the appropriate care

Everyone got so involved and engaged, enjoying lots of music, singing, dancing and, of course, some fun dress up! 🎶🎭
It was lovely see so many smiles, laughter and enthusiasm throughout the morning. We're already looking forward to their next visit, in 2 weeks! 💕
A couple of our residents declared war on the staff this morning! 🎨🔫 A little bit of face paint, a couple toy guns and plenty of fun. They certainly took their roles seriously and looked the part! 😂
We were delighted to welcome Music Bugs Halesowen Stourbridge Cradley Rowley back for another lovely visit. Our residents had such a fantastic time getting involved, interacting with all the wonderful children and enjoying the music together. 🎼❤️
We also welcomes Kelvin Leitch, who was a huge hit with everyone! Our residents absolutely loved his performance and are already asking when he can come back!🎤🎸
We're also very excited for Vee Sweeney to return this afternoon for another afternoon of live entertainment!🥰
Alongside our lovely visitors, our residents have been keeping busy getting ready for autumn with some creative arts and crafts🍂🎨, as well as taking part in an exercise class that got everyone smiling... and sweating!😂💪
This morning, we hosted 'Chloe and Kerry's exercise class' and what a wonderful session it was!🧘💪
It was lovely to see so many of our residents getting involved, moving their arms and legs, and giving it their absolute all - all while enjoying a little music and dancing along the way!💃🕺❤️

We asked our wonderful residents to tell us about their dream jobs, dream locations or something they'd love to do - and then brought their ideas to life!🌍🗨
The results were fantastic, and most importantly, they brought lots of smiles and laughter!❤️

🌟 Celebrating Our Stars of the Future! 🌟
On Friday 14th August, we celebrated our Stars of the Future with a fantastic fun-filled day in the garden! ☀️🎉
The staff and children had an amazing time taking part in a variety of games and activities. Things got a little competitive… and before long, it turned into a MASSIVE water fight! 💦😂
No one was safe — staff, children… absolutely no one was off limits! 😆💦
A huge well done to all the amazing children who received a reward for their hard work and achievements. We are incredibly proud of you and wish you all the very best of luck when you return to school in September. 📚✏️🌟
And don't worry, mums and dads… you're nearly there! 😂🙌
