June Newsletter 2013

Well we’ve finally had some of the lovely sunshine everyone keeps talking about sadly the forecast isn’t very good for this week but lets hope this is only short term and the sun will be shining on us very soon. The gardens on the front car park are now complete and the transformation is stunning. Both new garden areas have been a positive talking point with residents, families and visitors all saying how lovely they look. So we must thank John and James for all their hard work in these areas. Well Done to you both.

We’ve had two escapees this month within the animals. Firstly the chickens were found wondering around by the building works on a lovely sunny day, Obviously they were just being nosey and wanted to see what the builders were up to but luckily we managed to get them back into their pen without too much trouble. Of course our second escapee was Duncan. In true Duncan style he managed to open the gate as the catch wasn’t on properly and was found munching the grass by the bins. He did try to run and hide from me when I went to catch him but gave up very quickly and took himself back to his paddock with his tail between his legs, Bless!
