April Newsletter 2013

Well it’s taken a while but it finally looks like we may start to get some sunshine. After a cold and miserable March, April is shaping up to be a warmer month. Which is good news as the long awaited building works have finally started as of the 15th April 2013. A letter was sent to you all to advise you of the works and a residents meeting will be held on Sunday 28th April 2013 to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

We have lots of baby news in the home with two of our carer’s starting their maternity leave over the next few months so what better way to celebrate than to hold a baby shower. Details can be found on the next page.

This month will sadly see an increase into the charges of the hairdressing and chiropody, details can be found within the newsletter. These prices are charged by the individuals and the home has no say in these set prices however if you have any concerns please come and see us.

We also have the sad news this month of the retirement of our domestic supervisor Christine Evans. Christine has been with the home since September 2008. Christine will be sadly missed but we wish her well for the future.
