Wildlife Watch

We’re very fortunate that, due to the location of our home, we are visited by a wide variety of wildlife. As you may have seen in the latest gazette, we have been trying to help a fox we’ve affectionately named Frank, who had been looking very poorly.
We were able to contact a wildlife rescue organisation who kindly provided a trap and medication to help him. Unfortunately, Frank has not been seen since Friday. We will continue to monitor the cameras and keep watch for his return. As soon as he begins eating again, we will be able to administer the medication to help him recover.
Of course, we are quietly hoping that Frank might actually be a Francesca, and that her absence could be due to spending time with her cubs. If that is the case, we hope they are all safe and well. In the meantime, please do keep sending positive thoughts for their safe return and recovery.
While Frank has been a little evasive, our cameras have still been busy! Recently we’ve spotted Bambi the deer, Bob the badger, Rodney the robin, and Peanut the squirrel making their regular visits.
We will continue to keep an eye on the cameras and share updates as our wildlife visitors make their appearances.
Below are a couple of videos from the wildlife cameras.
