For the second year running Yew Tree Nursing Home have donated selection boxes to the Christmas Fayre at Halesbury School in Halesowen. “Halesbury is an all age Special School offering education services to pupils with a range of needs, including moderate learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, speech/language communication and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder”. (taken from school website). The school uses their Christmas Fayre to raise money for additional activities for the pupils.
The residents spent the day wrapping the 100 selection boxes and worked very hard ready for the Christmas Fayre. A pupil from the school Jack Crowdy visited Yew Tree to collect the gifts and as you can tell by his cheeky smile he was very happy and wanted to Thank everyone for their kindness. We wish them well in their fundraising.
