With Christmas fast approaching we always look at ways we can help the local community. In recent years we have undertaken food collections for Birmingham Dogs Home and the Homeless. This year we have considered a few of the local charities who need our help and we have decided to undertake a collection on behalf of the Black Country Food Bank which covers Halesowen and the surrounding area.
“Black Country Foodbank helps vulnerable individuals and families in crisis through the provision of 3 days emergency food supplies while a longer-term solution is developed. The services we provide have an enormous impact on the people who use them, giving them an important breathing space at a time of great need”. A full list of items they request is on the last page of the newsletter. A basket will be placed in reception and all donations will be collected over the coming weeks and dropped to the charity at the beginning of December.
