Garden Party and Dog Show In Aid Of Mary Stevens Hospice

The home will be holding a Garden party and dog show on Saturday 18th June 11am to 4pm. The residents of Yew Tree have chosen Mary Stevens Hospice as their selected charity. More details to follow very soon.

Happy New Year Everyone!!!! We hope your Christmas and New Year celebrations went without a hitch?.

I have a few thank you’s to say this month so I apologize if they go on a bit.

First I must say a huge thank you to all the staff who worked over the Christmas period. This time of year is always hard as staff members have their own family commitments however their dedication always shines through and the shifts are always covered. So Thank you to each and Everyone of you for assisting us in making the residents Christmas special…………..

Well despite some stiff competition the Dogs Home won our chosen charity once again. The home received 31 votes in total and it seemed very close between the Dogs Home and the Air Ambulance charity but the dogs home managed to win by just two votes………..

Well since the last newsletter we’ve been busy bees again. The car park is now fully lined apart from a couple of finishing touches and we hope you are finding it easier to park. We have refreshed the flowers baskets on the front of the building and in our Dementia garden we hope you like them………..
